Topictures: The most liked photos of the week from April 5th to April 11th.

I'm so proud of myself. It's been only a week since my last and although the last post wasn't much more than an Instagram post, it's still nice to be on some sort of a schedule again. I'm heading off to New York in about 3 days so, I definitely wanted to get a post in before then.

While this is another Instagram post,it also includes me babbling about the blog's new layout as well as the layouts that are being worked on currently and some random other stuff I feel like prattling about until I grow bored.

I've missed doing posts like this. So let's get started, yeah?

Before I post the pictures, let me get this off my chest before I forget. The first picture in this set was added when I edited the post so it's not included in the top pictures picture despite being one of them. The time I set the post to be posted didn't go through and so rather than posting, the post just sat in my drafts until I checked. So the date is in fact listed for two days ago (April 11th) rather than today (April 13th) since that's when it was supposed to be posted. I don't know what's up with Blogger lately? Whatever. Also, if you hover over the images, you'll see the title of the picture which corresponds with the text that'll come after the images.



Japanese. | I went out for dinner with my wifeu, otto, and our hubby, Tony. We had such delicious food and I got to spend the day with my loves. That's always lovely. From top to bottom and left to right, the foods are:

1. Crunchy Spicy Tuna & Crab Meat Rolls (shared!)
2. Calamari Salad (mine!)
3. Shrimp Gyoza (otto's, but shared!)
4. Miso Soup & Salad (mine is pictured but we all got our own)
5. Gyudon (mine!)
6. Oyakudon (otto's!)
7. Katsudon (Tony's!)

New Wig. | My mum and I headed out to Decatur to head to the courthouse to get her passport stuff done and when we went to this convenience store, she realized she needed to break some cash and treated me to something I wanted. We both decided that this wig was absolutely lovely and while I didn't get to try it on in the shop, I'm rather happy to say it looks pretty good on me. Yes, or yes?
Neuro Bliss. | I'd never ever heard of Neuro Bliss before, but I stumbled upon it in one of my local QuickTrips and decided to taste it. I prefer this over the other one I got (Neuro Passion) because it has an lovely, soft taste of grapefruit...which is a fruit flavour I absolutely adore (you guys, seriously....grapefruit flavoured drinks are le shit. Deal.)
Early Morning. | Before my mum and I went to the court house, I took  few pictures of how I looked. I actually really, really fancy how the pictures came out. Especially in the collage format.
Sneaker Game. | Obviously, I got new kicks. They're made by Coogi Australia and I adore them. They are extremely simple and are high tops and they look lovely on my feet. My only gripe is that they are bit too tight, but I can overlook that if I'm being honest here.
Red Bull. | My best friend and lover over the course of my 48 hours of no sleep/2 hours of sleep. Shit was great. Thanks Red Bull. (I actually got energy from it being a drink more than it being an energy drink. I'm one of those people that gets an intense amount of energy from eating or drinking...mostly drinking.)
New Things. | The other day when I went out for Chinese with NIL, we went to the beauty supply store and I picked up a few things. Aside from a relaxer, I got Ruby Kisses' Ultra Growth Polish & Absolute!'s Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy. I'll do a review of them soon. Promise!
Challenge Accepted. | I'm trying to work on being more fit and healthy. So. Yeah. That's a thing.
Eyes Open. | After getting all dolled up one day, I got lazy, took out my contacts, took off my wig, and took this picture. I love this picture because sometimes, I forget that when I'm not upset and I'm absolutely content, my eyes are a lovely shade of dark brown. This picture shows it perfectly.
Ramen and Coconut. | A couple days ago, I tweeted about my making ramen. [here & here] This is what it looked like. I swear, it was so delicious. I will post a recipe for it soon because I need it for future usage. I'm just saying. Also, I ate it with Coconut Water. So delicious.
Mint Julep Masque. | Since I'm normally a bit secretive about my skincare regimen save for taken a few pictures f products and talking about it in passing, I decided to take a picture of me with a masque on. I still stand by the fact that it isn't my proudest selca moment. I must admit.
New Sweater. | Got a lovely new sweater from Torrid. Actually, I got two. [Click for the other one] I love it. Actually, I bought it like two sizes too big so that I could purposely wear it as a sleepwear thing. Lovely and comfy.
Big Ass Lollipops. | Big ass lollipops that crept both otto and I out when we saw them while standing in line. Nuff said.


If you haven't noticed (it's habit to say this now), there's a new blog layout!!! I'm actually rather happy with it, but I think it's more because of the clour scheme than anything else. Plus, the icons and the top banner give me life. I'm so proud. I would also like to say that no, the blog has not changed names...it is still officially, sumeoseo, and it always will be. It's just that after a while, sumeoseo, by itself is far, far too boring...so I'll start to add random titles, such as: Drunken lullabies and whispered stories. They are really for my own childlike amusement.

A lot of the links in the navigation are not up yet, because I need to make a separate layout/layouts for the pages. So it will take me a while not to mention dealing with a lot of school related issues as well as personal issues is gonna make it tiring to deal with making layouts in the manner I want. Not to mention, packing and preparing to head to New York is a thing. Siiigh.

Nevertheless, I do hope you like the new layout and your opinions are always welcomed and appreciated. I'll be posting a progress post on my Tumblr under my progress tag which can be found by clicking here. It's not much, but I promise, the next time I properly do a layout, I'll try to include videos as well.


This isn't much but I just want to talk my shit for a bit. I'm a bit saddened. Remember this post? No? Well, okay. That post was my first (and at this point, only) wishlist post. However, in that post, I mentioned purchasing six new contacts from Kiwiberry. Now, that was February 15th when I ordered the contacts and I still haven't received them. I'm sad because I don't normally have many problems with lenses providers, Kiwiberry included, and especially not of this nature. So it saddens me that this happened and I immediately think that not buying contacts for a while is a good idea which is completely unreasonable, but whatever. I'm also saddened that even with giving them 2 months; not one, but two... I still haven't received my lenses. I'm saddened that this was one of my go-to lens places and because of this huuuge delay, I don't wish to purchase from there for a while. Anyway, I emailed them and I hope I get my money back or ideally, I get the lenses. Sigh.

I have this personal post sitting in my posts draft. It's not completed...but I'm hesitating to complete it out of hesitation to post it. I feel like I ramble far too much, especially as of late and I don't wish to increase that level by a tenfold, but I feel like not posting it would take away from what makes this blog this blog and what makes me the blogger I am. Blaaah. Also, I have another lullatoned x bandcamp to post soon, but I think I'll hold off on that until I get back from New York or maybe on a more chill day of my vacation.

Finally, expect a lot of pictures and stuff from my vacation in New York. I'm so excited to bloody go home. I missed it too much.
