Selca #1: New red wig came in recently and I absolutely adore it even if there's a bit too much volume. I think it'll grow to be one of m favourites. ((Ignore my slightly chapped lips...I kept licking them even though I had gloss on orz)
It's already been a week? Again? Dear goodness, where is time going? I know I've been tweeting crazily about blogging and making a new posting but I really just have come to Blogger and without fail, lost the motivation to post anything every time I've hit the "New Post" button. Finally, after another bloody week filled with college documents, preparing for college orientation, going out, and being dreadfully exhausted, I finally have the time and motivation to blog.
Despite what this may seem like, I'm actually not going to do a personal blog post today, I'd rather not bore you with a lengthy description of the nothingness that my week has been. Today's post (well, one of today's post) is another lens review, I do remember warning you readers that there would be a lot of those coming up because I bought such a massive amount from Kiwiberry when they had their holiday sale (9 in total).
So keep reading so we can get into all of this.
Before I get into the review of the lenses that this post is strictly dedicated to, let me stat off with these lenses that I absolutely hate. I'm not going to go into too much detail about how shitty they are and how no one should ever wear them. I'm just going to post the picture of me in them, write the list of cons (cause there are no pros) to the lenses, rate it, and then casually move on. Okay. So I lied, but really...once you see it, I doubt you'll blame me.
Hana SP Eye - EO Dizon Eye (Black): Looking up and looking the left.
I absolutely cannot deal with these lenses at all. For one they are too hard to put it. It normally takes me two tries to get lenses in it, but this took me about 5 or so. Another thing was that immediately after putting them in, I desperately wanted to take them out. I literally only wore them to take a couple pictures and then took them out. Actually, it was really painful taking them out too. I had to try and will my eyes to stop blinking in pain so that I could take them out properly and not damage my eyes. They lack opacity to an infinite degree and for a pair of lenses that are supposed to be Black, that s obviously not going to work. They actually look like more of a grey than anything else. They also aren't realistic in the slightest and I mean that in a really, really bad way. They aren't targeted to be like cosplay lens, so there isn't reason for it to not look at least a bit realistic. It also refused to move properly if I glanced up or down, but were fine if I glanced straight ahead, to left, or to the right. It was terribly weird. The only redeeming quality of these lenses were that the actual design of them are absolutely lovely. If they didn't have so many cons, I think they'd probably be one of my favourites. That being said, I'm setting them aside to probably never see the light of day again. Good riddance!
Pros:
→ Design is actually rather petty.
Cons:
→ Waaay too hard to put in.
→ They are extremely uncomfortable.
→ Not opaque at all.
→ Not realistic.
→ Don't move with your eye at all. (Like the what the hell?)
Pushing past that fuckery and onto something that I truly like: reviewing Geo Xtra 3D in Green. Now, I should mention this (again, if I already did) Eos and Geo are two of my favourite brands for contacts and while that would seem like it would influence my opinions, I can assure you it doesn't. I'm biased in my recommendations, but never in my reviews. That being said, let's jump right into these lovelies.
Geo Xtra 3D (Green): Without flash.
Ignore the fact that I'm only in a wig cap, please. I was getting ready and I didn't want to forget to take pictures.
Also, do I really look like a doll here? I've heard people say they think I do. Not what I was going for at all.
Geo Xtra 3D (Green): Looking to the left, looking to the right, and looking up.
What I love about these contacts most of all is the colour. It's not meant to be a bright or out there green and depending on the light you're in, it'll seem lighter or darker. I absolutely adore that, especially being someone who prefers darker greens that aren't too dark. I will admit that I am not much of a fan of the design just cause it's not really my cup of tea at all nor does it really look good on my eyes. There's really not much for me to complain about when it comes to these lens. Other than the design, it's a pretty solid pair of lenses. Comfortable (even after long periods of time), easy to manage, definitely opaque (perfect amount of opacity), etcetera, etcetera. I will say that the darker colour might not be for everyone and I will also say that because my eyes are a darker brown, they do appear rather darker than they would on someone who has a lighter coloured eye. So if you're a dark brown eyed lovelie and you don't like a darker green for your eyes, I'd say pass on these babies.
Pros:
→ Comfortable (even after long periods of time).
→ Easy to put in and manage overall.
→ Extremely opaque.
→ Natural without being unbearable natural (if that makes sense).
Cons:
→ The design isn't all that great.
→ Might be too dark for others.
Monday's FOTD: I'm really trying not to rub my eyes or rub around my eyes when I'm wearing makeup, but it's so hard. orz That I hate putting foundation or concealer around my eyes, I rather like my bags for no.

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)
