Waiting for June
Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.

Good Sunday all. I'm tired and exhausted as hell after pulling an all nighter on Friday and then going out without any sleep on Saturday. It was the worst thing I've done in a while and honestly I had all intentions of blogging when I got home yesterday, but it seems like exhaustion won over my wants. Which is totally okay. However, this is probably going to be something that occurs a lot in the future with schooling coming up and what not. Sigh.

Anyway, we're not here to get into an in depth personal spectrum of things, that'll be in my next post, today is something I'm totally excited about and have been hinting at as an upcoming post for a couple days now and if you can't already tell from the title of this post or the picture in the second link above, shame on you. I'll be reviewing one of my favourite lenses from the batch that I got from Kiwiberry (the last of my batch came in yesterday, which was pretty great), the EOS Manson White lenses.

So let's just jump right into this post, yeah?

Let me just start off by saying thanks to Kiwiberry for having such an awesome holiday sale in which they had everything in store 50% off. I know of tons of Bloggers and Lens Fanatics, like myself, who took full advantage of the lovely sale. So again, huge thanks to Kiwiberry for the awesome ass sale. You guys are lovely. I purchased 9 lens and I plan to purchase more soon (since they have a 50% off section on the site now *o*). While it took a bit to get here, I don't blame them at all, after all I did order from them around the holiday season, there's a bit of mix up that I have to deal with before I can review them.

So, no store review for right now, but there will be one in the future, I promise. ♥ Now, onwards to the review of the lens.

Wrappings: Contact vials and four lens cases.
Unlike with my packaging with PinkyParadise, these contacts came in a heavy duty grey envelope and rather than being wrapped in Styrofoam and taped down, they they were bubble wrapped, taped down, and then banded with a rubber band. Both the cases and the lens were wrapped in the same bubble wrap (I think you can it pretty clearly). Personally, I do prefer this wrapping as opposed to the wrapping PinkyParadise did. Even though they were both secure, both were secure in different manners and this, to me, was a bit more secure.

Also, in this batch there were 4 pairs of contacts (one of which was mismatched, but more about that later), in the second batch was 2 pairs of contacts, and in the final most recent batch I received were 3 pairs of contacts.

Top: Right eye is EOS Manson White and left eye is Vassen Super Nudy in Grey.
Middle: Right eye EOS Manson White.
Bottom: EOS Manson White contact vial.
Contact View: From the top to bottom, these are how the contacts look hen looking straight ahead, then up, then to left, and finally to the right.
Mismatching: EOS Manson White lens in the right eye, Vassen Super Nudy Grey in the left eye.
I decided to include this picture since
As you can see, these lens are pretty intense. All of these pictures were taken in indoor lighting with flash. I decided not to take any in natural light+flash because the contacts are so opaque that the flash would drown them out. I couldn't, for the life of me, get a good shot of me in natural lighting with flash while wearing these lenses. That is definitely not a bad thing to me at all. In fact, it's bloody fantastic. I love a nice pair of really opaque lenses and they are wonderful for cosplay or when you want to confuse the mass population.

When it comes to comfort, EOS is probably one of the best with that. I don't know how to explain it, but whenever I wear a pair of EOS lens, they never get uncomfortable until I get tired. For the most part, I'll forget they're there. When I'm tired though, they hurt like a bitch. They get really uncomfortable and I can genuinely say that it's off putting but it doesn't dock from my love for them as this occurs for me with all contacts. Obviously, this is not really made to be natural whatsoever, but it can confuse a good bit of people if you wear it right. I can't begin to explain how many people seemed be really confused when I wore one of these babies with a more natural looking pair of contacts. It was a joyous occasion, to be quite honest with you.

These as of now are my favourite lenses, my grey lenses are a close second, though.

Pros:
» Extremely comfortable.
» Extremely opaque and intense.
» Great for cosplay or fun wear.
Cons:
» Not for natural wear at all.

FOTD — Saturday: In the left eye is an EOS Adult Red lens and in the right eye is an EOS Manson White lens.
Yesterday when I was crazy exhausted, I decided that I wanted to wear another one of my new contacts, the EOS Adult Red lens. As you can see, they're pretty much a perfect match for the white lens and I adore the matching greatly. Both are rather intense, thought the white is definitely more intense than the red. They'll be a review of these contacts coming up soon enough, I promise. And since it is a FOTD lemme tell you the amazing stuff I used. Though, I do apologize for how smudgey my makeup looks. I took this picture after I go home, in such a state of exhaustion that I forgot I had make up on and contacts in and rubbed my eyes a bit. A bit not good. Sigh. Anyway.

Products Used:
» EOS Adult Red.
» EOS Manson White.
» Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel.
» Studio Fix Power Plus Foundation. → in NW45.
» e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette. → in Brights (the last black shadow in the fourth row)
» Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner. → in Blackest Black
And that signals the end of this review. I'm sorry that this is a bit too scatterbrained at times, I'm still a bit exhausted...but I do hope it was decently understandable.

Until next time~ ♥
