Yeeeey for starting out posts with my face!! I'm really trying my hardest to get more comfortable with taking pictures of myself and being in front of a camera in general. Which ties in with the whole self confidence things I'm working on cause as narcissistic as I can be at times, I still lack a huuge amount of self-confidence. Also, I'm working on a eating healthier and well...actually eating since I have such a problem with remembering to eat or waking up too late/falling asleep too early to eat. I hope I can do it.
Anyway, this post isn't supposed to be about my upcoming life events and all that jazz, so pardon that (that's for a later bog post!). This post is a post that includes both the K-Indie recommendations I promised last post as well as some about me tags I found on Tumblr and combined. Favourite Sex Song: Depends on the language. Ride On by DBSK for Japanese, Skin or S&M by Rihanna for English, and I don't think I have one for Korean that I can think of off thee top off my head. Favourite Nonseries Film?: Definitely a huge tie with V for Vendetta, 300, Phantom of the Opera, and Freedom Writers...I think Favourite character and why?: My favourite character of all time would definitely have to be Tony Stark or Loki. I know that sounds really typical or random depending on who you are, but I love those two. Maybe it's because they are the same as each other but instead took a different route (one taking the route of being "good" and the other being "evil") and in turn they are rather similar to myself. Narcissistic, yet self-deprecation. Shockingly generous while pretending to be aloof or thinking that they haven't done enough (more Tony than Loki in this aspect). Daddy issues to the max (don't ask...really). I could go on and on. Unfortunately, I'm not as gorgeous as either of them.
III. Randoms
1. The url sumeoseo is from the Korean word 숨겨진 which is sumgyeojin romanized and means "hidden", "in secret", or "secret place". 숨어서 or sumeoseo is another way of sumgyeojin and I like to think of this blog as my little secret place of my mind.
2. I don't have any pets, I do want a white bunny or white or grey kitty one day.
3. I have one of the biggest fancrushes on Tom Hiddleston. I want to sit with him over a cup of tea and chat a bit. I also want to pick apart his brain. I bet it's absolutely lovely.
4. If I sit too long, I have the habit of shaking my leg so hard that I shake the table I'm sitting at.
5. Shockingly enough, my favourite place to be is my mind.
6. My aspirations are to be a big time Web Designer and Blogger. I also want to start up an art business that caters to all forms of art and start up an art programs for children and teens. Finally, I wanna open a small bakery or cafe. Yeaaah, I'm not excessive or anything...right?
7. The only place outside of the United States that I've been to is Jamaica. That'll change soon enough.
8. One major memory I have fro childhood is watching these two girls fight from my window and then waiting until the fight ended and the girls walked away to grab some money, go to the corner store and take some time to count the amount of braided weave on the floor. Good times.
9. I pretty much listen to music as much as I can.
10. My current call ringtone is "Lip" by 디어 클라우드(Dear Cloud) but text message ringtone varies depending on the person and I'm currently listening to "춤" by 클래지콰이(Clazziquai).
11. My biggest pet peeves are blatant ignorance, blatant lying, and people who pretend to something they truly aren't.
IV. Ten Facts + One Extra
I — I enjoy studying about the human mind and why humans do what they do.
II — I think that most people would describe me as incredibly laid back to the point where it should be worriesome.
III — My favourite franchise or series overall is definitely the Marvel franchise with Iron Man taking the top and the LotR series following closely behind.
IV — I have a tendency to sleep on my face or on my side, but I move around a lot.
V — I get off on self-harm sometimes. Meaning that cutting to me is not the same for others.
VI — Despite popular belief, I'm not the only child. I'm the youngest of 3 and have two older brothers.
VII — I love books, movies, comic books, manga, and learning about different eras in History and how each place in the world handled it and what occurred for them.
VII — I am terribly enamored with British, Science Fiction, Utopian/Dystopian, and Psychological Literatures.
VIII — I do greatly appreciate the works of Edgar Allen Poe, Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, Emily Dickinson, Dr. Seuss, William Shakespeare, and Lemony Snicket. To name a few.
IX — No, I'm not an activist of any kind nor will I ever claim any of the activist titles. I just believe in common human and animal rights and am disgusted by the fact that grasping that concept is hard for people.
X — I speak, know, or am learning over 10 languages.
XI — Oh, look...an extra fact. My real name is not Yasuhiro, but you will call me that or a variation of that. Deal with it.
Now, we've reached one my favourite things: recommendations. I don't know why I like giving recommendations so much, but I really do. I think it's because I enjoy being able to share the things I love with others in the hope that they'd like them or respect them too. In this case, it's really an awesome one for me because it's K-Indie which is one of my main jamming genres. In general though, K-Indie tends to be released at a slower pace that genres like K-Pop or J-Rock. Unfortunately there are some bands like Vodka Rain who have gone on indefinite hiatus and others like Dear Cloud and Misty Blue who have practically no activity as of lately. For Dear Cloud though, the lead singer Nine9 has released a couple solo tracks "끝의 시작", "가위손", and "약속해" as well as a full length album "Nine Stories" (which I highly recommend). Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.

Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly.
