Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.
Willkommen!
Hello, there! I'm Mochizuki, a twenty-something year old Graphic & Web Design student located somewhere in America and welcome to Waiting for June a Lifestyle blog that occasionally gets a tad too personal, talks about cosmetics, and constantly the home for prattles about Bandcamp, nerd culture, and tea/coffee. To find out more about blog and the blogger, click here.
Thank you so much for visiting and reading Waiting for June! If you like what we do here and want to help support the addiction of the blogger, you should look into spoiling the blog and its creator with coffee and gifts by using the links below. Even if you don't, you're still pretty dope for visiting, reading, enjoying, et cetera.
Yo, everyone! Today's the 6th and you know what that means? One day closer to me to being 20. Ayeeee! I'm pretty much gonna be like this for the next couple days. I hope y'all don't mind, alright? I'mma just hit my dougie every post from now until the 23rd. Speaking of posting everyday, have you lot noticed the title? I bet you're like, " Da fuck, Yasu?" Allow me to explain.
Well, let's start with this. For those who don't know, a blog hop is basically a massive posting of blog names/buttons and their URLs. The point of a blog hop is to encourage bloggers alike to look over others blogs in hopes of finding something they really enjoy. It's somewhat like a blogger's network but much lax and definitely more blogger-based in the ideals that most blog hops are hosted, co-hosted, and sponsored by bloggers themselves. Some blog hops have rules like following all the hosts, co-hosts, and sponsors, but some much like this particular blog hop on require you to only follow the host and comment saying you'll be doing the blog hop alongside leaving your link.
Now let's talk more about specifics. The title is #21daystilsummer which the title of a blog hop that I joined hosted by the lovely Oleah who's blog i found today, but I absolutely enjoy. Basically, she wanted to ty and set her blog hop apart from others by making it a blog that incorporates those blog every day for a certain number of day challenge. Frankly, I think it's a lovely idea and since I seem to miss the sign up date for others and she didn't have a sign up date set in stone, I was more than happy to jump on board. So from now until the 21st, I'll be blogging everyday with every post titled as #21daystilsummer. If you wanna join this blog hop, all the information can be found here.
And so let's just into today's post.
So, if you're a follower of me on Twitter, then you know that whenever something big happens in the beauty world that interests me, like circle lenses and makeup sales, the release of a new line of lipsticks that intrigue me, or I find something that I deem magical, I'm immediately tweeting about it being sent from any (or all) of the gods above to bless me with beauty and great things.
So imagine me when I found out that elf cosmetics was having a sale where you pay 50% off bestsellers when you spend 20$ on your overall purchase. After purchasing my own stuff, I jumped to Twitter to tell my friend all about it. You guys have no idea how truly monumental this is for me. I absolutely adore elf cosmetics and I simply adore that there's a sale going on almost all the time. It makes me so happy that not only are they normally affordable, but they're willing to say that they have the confidence in their products and their fan base to consistently have a sale going on. I live!
I ended up purchasing quite a few things. I do believe I ended up grabbing about 16 items overall, not my most number of items purchased but the most I've bought in a while. I would have spent about 60$ in total, but with the sale, I managed to only spend about 35$ including shipping. Like how bloody awesome is that? I'm not including pictures yet because I prefer waiting until I have the products before I go about posting pictures and, obviously, reviews.
Shameless Unpaid Promotion: Go to elf's bestseller section by clicking here and use code, INLOVE, on order over 20$ to take advantage of this awesome sale!
Speaking of reviews, the contacts I wanted to review tore. No one's fault but my own, but I felt my heart break when I realized they were torn. I definitely need to purchase a new pair, but I think I still may do the review in the end since I did manage to take enough pictures before they tore to do a review. We'll see!!
Anyway, aside from my amazing spree over at elf, I also managed to revive my 8tracks with a new mix that I called THE DREAMERS MIXTAPE or simply THE DREAMERS for short. Check out information for the mix below and if you like it, heart that shit and share with your mates! ♥
THE DREAMERS is described as:
dream·er
Noun
1. A person who dreams or is dreaming.
2. A person who is unpractical or idealistic.
————————
This 8 track mixtape is a mix of different songs that all give the vibes of dreams/daydreams whether it be lyrically or melodically or even both. It's the mixtape that, I hope, you listen to and close your eyes and drift into a happier and/or clearer place in your mind because everyone needs a mental solace. You can find most of these songs on Bandcamp, save for the last one.
The photography used in the cover art is credited to the amazing landscape photographer, Michael Kenna. Artists on this mix include Artifiseer, Elenne May, Turn Off Your Television, Mike Ziethlow, The Will Hunter Band, and Kendrick Lamar. Most songs can be found in Bandcamp's indie tag save for the last song which can be found on Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city.
Before I end this post, I want to mention something really quickly. For the duration of this blog hop, all the posts will be titled using song titles. For example, "Humble Waves" is a song off of Turn Off You Television's Humble Waves album unless they are reviews of any sort.
Side note, I'm interested in selling a few of my nail polishes that I don't seem to like or suit but before I do that, is there anyone who be interested in me doing a blog sale?
I believe that's about it for now. Remember if you haven't followed me on Bloglovin', you need to do so before GFC shuts down for good. Also, if you're interested in button swapping, check out all the information you need here.
Until next time, lovies. And remember, you're all lovely and I love you like I love seaweed wraps. ♥

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)
