Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.
Willkommen!
Hello, there! I'm Mochizuki, a twenty-something year old Graphic & Web Design student located somewhere in America and welcome to Waiting for June a Lifestyle blog that occasionally gets a tad too personal, talks about cosmetics, and constantly the home for prattles about Bandcamp, nerd culture, and tea/coffee. To find out more about blog and the blogger, click here.
Thank you so much for visiting and reading Waiting for June! If you like what we do here and want to help support the addiction of the blogger, you should look into spoiling the blog and its creator with coffee and gifts by using the links below. Even if you don't, you're still pretty dope for visiting, reading, enjoying, et cetera.
Since I'm less exhausted today than I was yesterday, for this post, I'll be doing two tags. One is a thirteen question tag that I found on Heather's Of Beauty & Nothingness blog and the other is a five things tag I found over at the lovely Alexis' Sun Candy blog. Both are more personal type tags, but not too personal and we all know how much I love these types of tags.
1. What do you order at Starbucks? — Whenever I head over to Starbucks (which is frequently cause gold Memeber right here~), I always get one of the following drinks: Venti Iced Green Tea Latte, extra shaken with Vanilla, and light ice, Venti Green Tea Lemonade, extra sweetened with light ice, Tall Vanilla Bean Latte, or Venti Passion Fruit Iced Tea (sometimes) with Green Tea, extra sweetened, and light ice. Those are my go-to drinks. As for food, I normally gt one of their sandwiches or a cheese danish warmed up.
2. What is the one this in your close that you cannot live without — Honestly? I can't live without my binder, skinny jeans, hoodies, or the artist merch I have. I wear my binder and skinny jeans frequently, I wear my hoodies to sleep in the winter cause they're comfortable and I love that feeling of being wrapped up in something comforting and warm on a cold night. My artist merch is near and dear to my heart. I never buy band merch unless I'm really, really in love with an artist. So theeyre super important to me and I cannot live witout them. That's not one thing, but whatever...I've never been one for the rules.
3. What is the one thing most people don't know about you? — I haven't been in a proper relationship in 6 years and I haven't had sex in about that amount of time either. The reason being that for one, I'm demisexual and it's hard to find someone I just connect with and for another, I sometimes enjoy and would fancy being in a relationship that is polyamorous. No, that does not mean I am a swinger nor am I cheater nor am I slut/whore/skank/etc. There are just instances in which I find someone I genuinely care for but they can't give me everything I ask for and someone comes along that fills that void. More than anything, it makes me a selfish asshole, if that, but frankly, I couldn't give any less of a fuck about people's opinions towards my ideals and wants. And that is why 6 years is a thing for me. Maybe I'll post more abut this and talk yur ears off. You're one step closer to knowing about me....you're welcome.
4.What is the one thing you want to do before you die? — Be absolutely content (cause fuck happiness, I want contentment over happiness) whilst travelling and feeding my desperate wanderlust.
5. What is the one food you can't live without? — Anything with cheese or ramen. I love cheese and I always have. Same goes for ramen.
6. What is the one quote you live your life by? — There are many quotes I adore enough to live by, here are a few:
“Time takes it all whether you want it to or not, time takes it all. Time bares it away, and in the end there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again.” — Stephen King
“Everything you do right now ripples outward and affects everyone. Your posture can shine your heart or transmit anxiety. Your breath can radiate love or muddy the room in depression. Your glance can awaken joy. Your words can inspire freedom. Your every act can open hearts and minds. — David Deida
“I can feel infinitely alive curled up on the sofa reading a book.” — Benedict Cumberbatch
7. What do you like/dislike about the blogging community? — I love that there are so many genuine and sweet bloggers around, they make coming into this community comfortable and extremely welcoming without any judgment and tend to give som of the best advice ever. Also, everyone pretty much loves everyone. It's a thing here and I adore it. I will say that when it comes to disliking something about the blogging communities it's how sometimes people change in the blink of an eye. It's not always, but there are times when bloggers get sponsored by someone or their popularity soars and suddenly, they are smelling their asses and are the hottest shit ever. Or bloggers who get popularity increases for being twats. It's not often, but when it happens, I can't lie...I'm always disgusted.
8. What is your number one song on your iPod? — On my new iPod, it's LOST REASON by abingdon boys school (アビングドンボーイズスクール). On my old iPod, it's Deeper Deeper by ONE OK ROCK (ワンオクロック). And for shits and giggles on iTunes, it's Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet by Fall Out Boy. Actually, Fall Out Boy take up most of my plays in iTunes.
9. What kind of style would you describe yourself as having? — I would say I have a dark kind of style. Maybe neutral? I don't really own bright colours, but I have tons of blacks and greys and whites. I tend to style casually, but I would love to do Elegant Lolita, Aristocrat / Victorian Era, Ouji / Kodona. Also, I'd love to do Haute Couture that I actually find beautful.
10. Favourite number? — When it comes to a favourite number, I don't think I have one. Maybe 49 because I'm a bit of a twat and find it humorous that the number means what it does in Japanese when it comes to superstitions.
11. Two hobbies? — Two of my favourite hobbies are web design and languages. Most of you already know about the web design since I'm the one that makes all the layouts for this blog as well as my Tumblr, and any other site that I use that takes/requires a customized layout. However, I don't know how many people know about my fascination with languages. I don't talk about it often because I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I know/can speak/have learned over ten languages. I may have mentioned it previously here on the blog, but I'm not quite sure. I won't list all the languages here, but if you wanna know...feel free to ask in the comments.
12. Two pet peeves? — Two pet peeves? Hmmm...people who lie for no reason whatsoever and do so blatantly. I hate liars as I try to be as honest as I can and if I can't tell the truth, I just say that I refuse to answer or don't feel comfortable answering. However, it's rare that I don't tell the truth and I would really appreciate that same respect from the lot of people I chat with. Another pet peeve are bigots/oppressors of any kind, especially those who were labels like LGBTQ+ advocate, feminist, black rights activisits, animal rights activists, etc and do it all wrong. First of all, the idea that there are so many separate labels when it comes to advocating and fighting for rights is wrong in itself. If you're fighting for rights, fight for everyone's because every one and thing deserves the same amount of respet you do (there are exceptions, but you get it). That being said, there are people who wear these titles and labels and make the lot of us advocates and fighters look like twats because they themselves are bigots or oppressors to the opposition. It's ignorant and why I genuinely cannot take on these labels. Bigots and oppressors, in general, are absolute trash to me overall. So that's a thing.
13. Your guilty pleasure? — I have a good lot of guilty pleasures. Things that I can do and get dirty from or feel like I've really accomplished something, things that make me feel serene/content/at peace with myself, and things that I feel are artistic or that make me think. Those kinds of things are my guilty pleasures.
Five Things You Will Find In My Bag:
→ Zebra Pens & Pencils // An excessive amount of pencils.
→ A smaller version of my makeup bag with necessities.
→ My wallet
→ Notebooks // Books in general.
→ Electronics // iPod, Camera, (sometimes) iPhone, (sometimes) Laptop.
Five Things You Will Find In My Bedroom:
→ My bed.
→ Posters. // Mostly Marvel posters and movie posters. (I'm always accepting posters. Coughcough)
→ Clothing & shoes everywhere.
→ Sex toys. // I wish I was kidding. I have this habit of collecting and storing sex toys never really using them. No shame here.
→ Cosmetics everywhere. In different bags, lying around, etcetera.
Five Things I Have Always Wanted To Do:
→ Take a year or so off life and travel the world.
→ Live or own a vacation home in the UK, Australia, Norway, Scotland or Wales.
→ Get the tattoos and piercings I've been desperately raving for years.
→ Meet and have a conversation with Johnny Depp, the cast of the Avengers, Joss Whedon, Florence + the Machine, Panic! At The Disco, Stephen Kng, Anthony Hopkins, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, and more.
→ Have dinner with all my friends and/or blogger friends. I've actually never had a dinner with a group of people at a table that I can remember (family dinners were not a thing inmy family...still aren't), so yeah.
Five Things I Am Currently Loving:
→ Office supplies.
→ The idea of living on campus soon (fingers crossed!).
→ Shows like Hannibal, Doctor Who, Dexter, Sherlock, Wallander.
→ Holding novels in my hand.
→ Blogging and reading other's blogs.
I'm probably going to be saying this for a while at the end of everyone post and I'm sorry if I get a bit repetitive, but if you haven't followed me on Bloglovin', you need to do so before GFC shuts down for good. Also, if you're interested in button swapping, check out all the information you need here.
So that's it! I hope you enjoyed this post and learned a little about me in the process and if you haven't already done these and feel like doing them, drop a comment and leave me a link to your own post. I'll check 'em out and comment and we'll have a fun time.
And that's a wrap, dearies. ❥
Until next time, lovies. And remember, you're all lovely and I love you like I love seaweed wraps. ♥

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)
Since I'm less exhausted today than I was yesterday, for this post, I'll be doing two tags.
