Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.
Willkommen!
Hello, there! I'm Mochizuki, a twenty-something year old Graphic & Web Design student located somewhere in America and welcome to Waiting for June a Lifestyle blog that occasionally gets a tad too personal, talks about cosmetics, and constantly the home for prattles about Bandcamp, nerd culture, and tea/coffee. To find out more about blog and the blogger, click here.
Thank you so much for visiting and reading Waiting for June! If you like what we do here and want to help support the addiction of the blogger, you should look into spoiling the blog and its creator with coffee and gifts by using the links below. Even if you don't, you're still pretty dope for visiting, reading, enjoying, et cetera.
Yo! It’s interesting that I’m posting on a consistent basis again when that really wasn’t my intention at all. Not complaining though, I’m enjoying it thoroughly. The post of this post really was to give me a break from all the typing, information, and overwhelming prattle that I spew out constantly in my posts so that I don’t run myself dry. So what I decided to do was actually delve deep into the categories of the blog and start back up on a category that I created initially to use as a one-time thing and use it more than the one time it was used for.
So here it is. Another wishlist post. The wishlist post that is going to revive the category that was started and then left behind of June 5th of last year. This wishlist post is comprised of two online stores that I found and recently fell in love with, Beauty-Steals and Blipster Magic. Beauty Steals is a store taglined with “A shopaholics worst nightmare.” and is an online store dedicated to providing cosmetics, jewellry, and accessories at a low, affordable price. Blipster Magic is a store dedicated to organic and homemade overall body care products. From hair sprays to soaps to body butters, most of the products on Blipster Magic are made from organic and natural ingredients unless stated otherwise. The products are freshly handmade, so they take a bit of time to reach you.
I completely recommend you lot checking out both stores and let me tell you how difficult it was trying to pick only four products from each site to talk about in this post. Sigh.
The products from Beauty Steals that I definitely need in my life. Clicking on the name of the product will send you to the page.
Antique Owl Ring: “Antique look owl ring, with crystals and a stretch back, this ring is perfect for any sized hand.”
+ Because Loki knows I need another ring for my collection. Plus, I have an obsession with antiques, owls, and the two of them combined. And doesn’t it look lovely? I can overlook the crystals (I don’t particularly like gems like that) because the overall design is so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.
NYC Liquid Eyeliner: “This amazing liquid eyeliner from NYC will create instant glamour! Think Audrey Hepburn!”
+ I am such a liner hoarder and it’s ridiculous. Pencil, cream, gel, liquid...I love ‘em all. So of course I want this in my collection. Not to mention that NYC has lovely liners. I can complain about a good bit of their other products, but their liners are some of my favourite liners I own to date. So yes, definitely need it in my life like yestermorrow.
Betty Hula Rum & Blackcurrant Shea Butter Body Moisturiser: “If you desire youthful skin this exotic, sweet scented moisturising cream from the pacific islands this is ideal for you.”
+ I’m a bit of a fan of a good body moisturiser. Too bad I can rarely ever find one that doesn’t completely hate my skin or is hated on by skin. This particular body moisturiser looks rather interesting and the fact that its scent is Rum and Blackcurrant intrigues me and I really want to try it out.
Olay Cleansing Milk (200ml): “Olay Gentle Cleansers Conditioning Milk for all skin types gently and effectively remove all traces of make-up the daily grime urban life delivers. Your skin will be left wonderfully fresh, clean and revitalised.”
+ I rather fancy Olay, but owning their products is a rarity to me because, let’s be real here, their prices are absolutely, bloody ridiculous. I really want to try this product out and from what I’ve seen, there’s been mixed reviews: either it works or it doesn’t; plain and simple. Since my skin is really unique (and I tend to mean that in a depressing way), I would have to test this product out rather than take reviews I read at anything other than face value. Plus, it looks like it’d be pretty lush.
The products from Blipster Magic that I definitely need in my life.
Almond & Coconut: “Almond and Coconut shower gel made with only organic products and as always with love. This is a lovely moisturising shower gel, which is great for dry skin, and a great pick me up. The scent will make you smell utterly gorgeous!”
+ It’s almond and coconut in a shower gel. Do I really need more of a reason?
Anti Cellulite Soap: “This jelly shaped caffeine lover soap contains organic coffee grains that naturally exfoliate the skin and helps to get rid of cellulite. It really is a luxury miracle in a soap! The lovely coffee scent is also a great ‘wake me up’ for your morning shower. As always made with love!”
+ I don’t particularly want the soap because it will help get rid of my cellulite (I’m actually one of few people who don’t care about having cellulite), but moreso because I love cute looking soaps and I imagine that this soap smells like coffee heaven. And if there’s one thing I truly adore in the world? It’s the scent of strong coffee.
Multi Oil Afro Hair Spray: “This nourishing Afro hair spray provides your curly tresses with a multi oil enriched spritz that helps to detangle and soften your hair! Infused with Avocado Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Argan Oil, and Vitamin E! Makes a great conditioner pre or post washes! Choose your own scent for this gorgeous product!”
+ Obviously being an ethnic being, I’m intrigued by anything that markets to work for my hair. Plus, I’m biased towards anything that has Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, and/or Vitamin E.
Peppermint Bark Whipped Body Butter: “Peppermint scented body butter. Another With Lovely recipe! This cream is lovingly hand made with a wonderful winter scent & organic Vitamin E that aids soft skin.”
+ This is not a well known fact, but I absolutely love the smell of peppermint bark, and peppermint overall. I feel like peppermint has such an intense smell, but it’s soothing in all its intensity and I absolutely love it. The fact that there’s a whipped body butter with that scent makes me happy and I need to have it in my life. Immediately!
This was a relative short post and normally, I’m not a fan of shorter posts, I actually really fancied taking a break from all the intense posts that I do and doing something less time consuming. Maybe I’ll actually start doing more of these. Anyway, are there any products from either of these stores that you have taken a fancy to? Have another store you think I should be checking out and include in my next wishlist post? Tried any of these products and have an opinion? Leave it down in the comments below and we’ll have a nice little chat. Until next time, darlings! ❤

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)
