Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.
Willkommen!
Hello, there! I'm Mochizuki, a twenty-something year old Graphic & Web Design student located somewhere in America and welcome to Waiting for June a Lifestyle blog that occasionally gets a tad too personal, talks about cosmetics, and constantly the home for prattles about Bandcamp, nerd culture, and tea/coffee. To find out more about blog and the blogger, click here.
Thank you so much for visiting and reading Waiting for June! If you like what we do here and want to help support the addiction of the blogger, you should look into spoiling the blog and its creator with coffee and gifts by using the links below. Even if you don't, you're still pretty dope for visiting, reading, enjoying, et cetera.
So today’s post is yet another short one and another wishlist, at that. This time, the focus point of this wishlist is Tokyo Milk. Tokyo Milk is slowly, but surely, becoming one of those brands that I consider to be a lovely gem and desperately want to purchase as much as I can from them. Their products are quirky and give me the whole vintage vibe, which is such a huge bonus for me since I’m completely here for all things quirky and vintage.
Honestly speaking, looking over Tokyo Milk’s website was a journey for me (as it normally is) and I found myself having to berate myself some to prevent the possibility of me picking more than six products to include in this wishlist post (which I ended up doing, but only one more than the six I intended). I was genuinely shocked, and abruptly reminded just how much I just wish to roll around in all of their products happily. Alas, I cannot as I am not made out of money at all...unfortunately.
That being said, I finally narrowed down my wishlist to the six products you see here. Its a mix of things and I’m really excited to talk about it with you lot. So head on pass the jump and check out why I chose what I did.
(click the product name to view the product page).
Marie Cherie Cosmetic Bag: “A covetable cosmetic tote to house a delightful world of curiosities. Eclectic imagery will carry you away from the everyday, with glittered paper butterfly tag perched as if ready to take flight. So pretty you'll want to collect them all!”
+ I’m in desperate need of a new cosmetics bag and immediately upon seeing this, I felt drawn to it and realised that I just desperately need it in my life (and hopefully soon). Plus, how absolutely lovely is the artwork on the bag? Too lovely, right? Right.
I Heart You Greeting Card: “Laid paper frosted with hand-glittered accents. As much a treat to give as it is to receive. Blank inside.”
+ Now, I know this is a greeting card, but I want to frame it and hang it up on my wall when I get my room all fixed up again and painted up. I love the quirkiness of it and I truly aappreciate the fact that they didn’t use that false heart that everyone uses (♥) when trying to say I love you. It’s so impractical and I try not to use it in my daily life unless it’s the heavier looking one and/or you’re one of my mates. And I just really want it be framed up somewhere cause it’s cute. Don’t judge me.
Cherry Burbon Conditioning Lip Balm: “Sweet temptation is beckoning. Remarkably uncommon essences infused in to a smooth, luscious balm. Elicit a kiss with lips tamed by a lush, silky blend of sweet Jasmine & Bee Balm laced with crushed extracts of hydrating Aloe Leaf & Vitamin E. Femme fatale incarnate. A supple seduction. Not for the faint of heart: An unexpected mixture of fragrance & flavor. A remarkable lip elixir for a remarkably uncommon experience.”
+ Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly if you’ve followed me for a while and know of my love for these things, I absolutely adore lip products; especially balms and lip colours/lipsticks. I have a collection of lipsticks, lip colours, and lip balms that constantly seem to grow without me realising it. I grew really attracted to this particular product because of the name and the promise of the lovely scent as well as the fact that it is a conditioning lip balm. I’ve’nt come across a balm that was solely a conditioning lip balm that worked for me. So I’m really interested in testing it out. Not to mention that it has the scents Cherry Brandy, Whiskey, Aged Wood, and Clove combined.
(click the product name to view the product page).
Iced Green Tea Lip Balm: “The sweetest lips await. Sunflower seed oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Shea Butter. Candied lemon imparts a hint of sweetness upon delicate Mountain Green Tea, a refreshing drink for the thirstiest of lips.”
+ Green Tea scented lip balm? Green Tea? Need I elaborate or can you already notice just how much I bloody love Green Tea? On a side note, it also sounds like it’d smell like heaven even without the addition of the Green Tea-ness.
Tainted Love Parfum: “Fragrance Notes: Dark Vanilla Bean, Orchid, White Tea, Sandalwood”
+ Now, when I first heard about Tokyo Milk, I actually heard about them through this product. This exact one. I don’t remember whose blog I was reading or YouTube video I was watching, but they mentioned this product and showed a picture of it and I immediately had to have it if only for the bottle it comes in. (Hint: Quirkness factor maxed out!) When I finally looked it up and read into the scents that went into this parfum, I knew I need to have it in my life. I mean, Dark Vanilla Beann. Orchid, White Tea, and Sandalwood? It sounds intriguing and like it would be either a hit or a miss to me and I definitely hope it would be the former as opposed to the latter. Nonetheless, I really want it to test and have.
Sea & Sky Candle: “The most remote of destinations becomes instantly familiar when you bring along a travel candle. Our deeply fragranced Soy wax blend burns evenly from the first moment to the last.”
+ For those who are close to me and know the shite out me, they know I have an overly obsessive and intense love for candles. So it won’t shock them to see a candle on the list. If I had the money to shell out like that, I would have an intense collection of candles. They’re so bloody soothing and magnificent and just perfect. I love just sitting with a candle lit and either working on a blog post or just lying around lazily. No matter what I do whenever I blow out my candles, I’m immediately ready to sleep.
The reason this candle stuck out to me, much like Poe’s tobacco did, was the idea of the scent. I love that they try to give you the feeling of being at the beach or out at sea on a lovely day by combining the scent of Clean Coral, Mineral Salt, Watercress, and Crushed Citrus in the candle.
Poe’s Tobacco Candle: “The most remote of destinations becomes instantly familiar when you bring along a travel candle. Our deeply fragranced Soy wax blend burns evenly from the first moment to the last.”
+ Finally, we have Poe’s Tobacco Candle. Like I mentioned previously, I absolutely adore candles. And again, like mentioned previously, I’m drawn to this candle because of the combination of scents it lists off: Tobac, Tea Leaves, Amberwood, and Autumn Apple. It sounds like an interesting mix of these and I’m really eager to find out if it works that well. Also, I love that they kind of highlighted one of my all-time favourite authors for this candle. (Yes, Poe is one of my favourites and that’s a tirade for another day.)
Aaaaand that’s it for this post! Have you ever browsed through Tokyo Milk? Found something you liked? Interested in some things you saw on my wishlist? Is there an online shop you think I would love and should check out? Leave that all down in the comments below and we’ll have a nice little chat. Until next time, darlings! ❤

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)
