Waiting for June
Lifestyle and Daily Shenanigans with a dash of Nerd Appreciation thrown in.

Wheee~! Hello, everyone. It’s been over a week and I’m sorry, but it’s been a long week and this post should have been out earlier, but I was just way too bloody knackered to properly get it done plus I was fighting myself on hether or not I should post it because there is a part of the post that is missing. Nonetheless, I decided to post it; so here we go.

I come back bringing a freebie Blogger Classic Template, information about me opening the option of commissions, and a new layout!

Speaking of the new layout, as you can see...I’ve gone back to my roots and made this a darker layout. It’s been quite some time since I’ve had a darker layout and since this freebie is a darker theme, I decided that I would take this layout and make it darker. Honestly, I love it more than 95% of the lighter layouts I’ve had for this blog, but of course, knowing me it won’t last long.

Back to this post. Now, as obvious as it is, this is a freebies post and yes, you can use it as much as you like. However, please keep in mind that in order to use it on your Blogspot, you need have your templates reverted back to Classic Templates, which can be done by going to the template section of your blog, scrolling down to and selecting “Revert to Classic Template”. Also note that one of the major part of this process post is missing. I’ve been pretty lazy and exhausted lately with all the coding I have beeen doing that I didn’t get to edit down the coding video (which was 3 hours and some minutes in total before I cut it down), but I’ll come back and edit the post when it’s done and uploaded. Aside from that. Hope you enjoy.

R U L E S — Please do not remove any of the credits within the layout. There are only two and I would really and truly like them to remain intact. I wouldn’t recommend too much customisation to be done to the layout overall unless you really know what you’re doing, however, if you are messing with the code and customising it, you still keep the credits intact. When you use this layout, you need to make sure that your comments are set to a Pop-Up Window rather than Embedded or anything else. You can do this by doing the following: Head over to settings section of your blog. → Select posts & comments. → Scroll down to the comments section. → Select the pop-up window option from the drop down menu under Comment Location. I also want to point that as true with DRIFTER, this layout looks best with a minimal amount of posts. I recommend making no more than 2 or 3 posts appear a page.
I M A G E S — You can click on the each of the pictures in the Instagram teaser strip to go to the Instagram picture page or you can click here: one, two, and three. To view the full image preview, you can click here.
P R E V I E W — Live preview here.
C O D E S — To grab the code, you can get from either Blogskins or Pastebin. I recommend Blogskins, especially if you’re a member of Blogskins (then you should go over to the site and show it a little love by favouriting it/rating five stars.)
N O T E S — Truth be told, from the beginning up until the end of creating this layout, I was constantly on the fence about whether or not I would like it or not. It also became evident when I was recording the coding video because it did end up taking me so long to completely code the layout, but after all things were said and done, I found myself enjoy the layout a lot more than I assumed I would. I appreciate a bit more because dark layouts are hard to make look somewhat decent, let alone good, and even if I didn’t get the perfection I was aiming for due to my rustiness in terms of creating darker layouts, I did fancy the fact that I managed to make all the colours meld well together. And despite me being a picky arse, it does look pretty good.

Oh snap! I’ve opened commissions, in case you haven’t noticed by the little link in the navigation bar. I won’t spend too much time chatting about it here because if you click the commissions link, you can easily find out more information about how commissioning me works.

Long story short though, I am limited to Blogger Classic layouts,Tumblr Theme layouts, and on occasion, Website Templates because those are what I feel most comfortable with and those are my forte. The base price for all the things you commission me for are listed in the commissions section, however, the price will increase depending on how much information is added (not by much, but still will increase b anywhere from 2-3$). Now, I’m not expecting commissions out the wazoo because I am aware at how artists community is, let alone how the web design/layout creator community is, and to most people I’m stil relatively unknown in my craft. That being said, I’m opening it for a just in case type of scenario.

So if you ever want a customised layout and don’t mind forking out no more than 25$, then you could totally commission me. It’ll remain open for the time being. Also, I can’t stress this enough, but if for any reason I cannot complete a commission of yours, I will refund your money immediately and explain to you privately why I cannot complete your commission.

That was a bit of typing and reorganising and more typing, but I do hope that everything (especially the small information about commissioning me) is explained in a manner that is simple for you to understand. If there isn’t feel free to drop a comment down below or in the tagboard with your questions. Until next time, darlings! ❤
