Blog Skin IV; The City.

Hello, everyone! It’s been some time, hasn’t it been? In my defence, I have no proper net at home and I’ve been currently jacking my friend’s net. Their net is absolutely dreadful when you’re not in their home, so it’s been going in and out for me. On top of that, my bloody SD card split in half, literally split in half, while I was out the other night. Not only did I lose about a month worth of blog post images (including my graze box images), the flash drive for the card is completely missing (no idea why), and I have no money to replace it. Plus, studying and working and life adding onto that makes being around here terribly slow.

Thankfully, I have a post that I have set to finish up in the near future and I have a new category to add to the blog in a week or so. So alls not too dead around here, or shouldn’t be if things go well. Anyway, that’s not the point of today’s post. In the time that I couldn’t live my internet life and was seething over my broken SD card, I decided to take my frustration out by coding and thus I made a new Blogskins freebie.

A proper screencap of The City. // full size
N O T E S — Boop. I’m back with another skin thing. Unlike my previous skin, I actually like this one a bit more. I like making simple layouts and tend to have a bit more fun making than I do when I make more intricate and over the top layouts. Anyway, here it is: The City; a layout inspired by me missing my hometown in New York and this Ed Sheeran song (although, I do recommend this version the most).
R U L E S — 「I」Do not remove the credits and do not use as a basecode. I didn’t make it basecode friendly (that was completely accidental), but customise the colours and fonts as much and as little as you wish to. ♢ 「II」Less posts is far better. I would say 2-3 posts per page looks lovely with this layout. ♢「III」Comments need to be set to Pop-Up Window. To do this: Head over to the settings section of your blog. → Select posts & comments. → Scroll down to the comments section. → Select the pop-up window option from the drop down menu under Comment Location. ♢ 「IV」Do not mess with any of the coding unless you have a good grips on HTML, CSS, and the small bit of script there in the code. ♢ 「V」I constantly come back to edit and check on my skins so feel free to leave questions in the comments as well and check back for little edits I do to the skin.
P R E V I E W — Live preview here.
C O D E S — To grab the code, you can get from either Blogskins or Pastebin. I recommend Blogskins, especially if you’re a member of Blogskins (then you should go over to the site and show it a little love by favouriting it/rating five stars.)

Unfortunately, that’s all for this post. I’m going to go ahead and take some mobile pictures of the graze box I got, but seeing as all the food is already eaten, I’ll have to use the pictures from the site to assist with that post. I refuse to not make that post and share my opinions of the different things that came in it. Other than that, that’s it. If you use the skin, like the skin, have a question about the skin, or just want to talk about your day, drop me a comment below (and don’t forget your link).
Until next time, darlings! ❤
