Good day, loves! Well, morning for me. I started typing up this post at about 8pm last night and I finished around 7:30 am (Eastern Standard Time of course) without any bit of sleep in between. So as I type this introduction, it's morning for me. But there's no rest for the wicked!
Before you jump into reading this, click that link up above and let MIKA's voice again guide you through this post like an angel of amazingness. Today's post is yet another review and that makes this my second review in a span of about two or so weeks...maybe not even that long. Not only is today's post a review, but there's a little something extra, a couple pictures, and a request for you lot's opinions towards the end, so make sure you read it all.
Now, I'm gonna end this intro and go pass out on my face. Remember to comment, share, and love this post anyway you can.

Now, I don't exactly remember the day that I went over to Walmart with my mum, but I believe it was sometime at the beginning of the month. Anyway, on a lovely Saturday evening, I found myself at Walmart with my mum and while she went off to do her nails, I went to get some groceries and because I desperately needed some new lip balm for my lips (I lost my Carmex again. Sob), I decided to head on over to the cosmetics section and see what was up and what peaked my interest. So as I was scanning the aisles, I actually initially picked up Maybelline's Baby Lips since I've heard nothing but lovely things about it, but when I hit the end of one of the aisles, I noticed the ALMAY section. Many of you don't know this, but a long, long time ago when I first got into makeup back in '05 (2010 is really when I started to get deeper into it), I used to be really into bands like ALMAY, Avon, and Mary Kay (especially Avon, which makes up a good decent bit of my collection and my empties). So when I got to the ALMAY section, I had a mini spaz out because...yes. Nonetheless, when I stumbled upon the new Liquid Lip Balms, I was in a bit of tizzy because what the heck do I choose? So there I spent the next 10 minutes arguing which to get because I refused to get more than one. In the end, I chose ALMAY's color+care Liquid Lip Balm.
The major reason I picked this lip balm is because of the selection of colours it has in comparison to Maybelline's Baby Lips. Whereas Baby Lips comes in only six shades, the Liquid Lip Balm come in ten shades. As you can see, I went with the bright coral kind of orangey pink colour that's appropriately names Apricot Pucker (definitely can see the inspiration there) and it's weird that I chose this colour because normally when Autumn rolls around, I'm all about dark reds and plums and retro reds. So picking this orangey kind of pink lip balm was random and I ended up choosing it over Just Plum Good (that colour was lovely and if you want something dark, yet classy and gorgeous...that's the shade for you).
The same day I bought this I sat the Subway in the Walmart, got a delicious sub, ate a bit, took the pictures you see in this post, and then tested out the lip balm. The colour itself is absolutely lovely in the tube. When it's applied, however, the colour isn't as opaque and that is really saddening. Maybe it's because my lips are such a shade of pink and so if a pink, orange, or red is not opaque enough by itself, I have to build the application or I have to have a lip liner close to the colour under it. Honestly, when I applied it and looked at it in the mirror, I didn't not notice a visible difference. So sad, really because, again, absolutely gorgeous colour.
The next weekend, otto came over to spend the night and she applied some and it showed up a bit more on her lips, so I definitely think it was my lips' natural colour.
There are a couple other things about this lip balm that I love aside from the colour. One of those things happens to be the wand. Lately a lot of brands have been trying to be inventive with the way they have their lip gloss/balm wands made and shaped. ck one's Lip Gloss is a prime example of this that I can think of off the top of my head. And personally, I really detest those new wands and it explains why I don't normally buy any lip gloss or balms unless they're like Carmex, Burt's Bees, EOS, et cetera. So when I bought this and saw that the wand was the every day stereotypical wand that I had been dying to see again, I was excited and I immediately gave it bonus points. Like the old school stereotypical wands, this wand is soft and makes application simple and easy and I rarely, if ever, have to question if I got some where it didn't need to be.
Another thing that I absolutely adore is the application and feel. The application of this liquid lip balm is so smooth and effortless that it's sometimes shocking to me how quickly it glides on and how little effort there seems to be needed. The feel of this lip balm is the true winner here. Due to the fact that it's a liquid lip balm, I expected it to be like a lot of other liquid lip balm variations I've used and be sticky and terribly uncomfortable. However, to my utter delight, the lip balm not only was void of intense stickiness, it was so comfortable I'd forget that I was wearing it and sometimes question why I hadn't licked my lips in a bit. You guys should totally understand how awesome it is to stumble across a product like this that didn't feel sticky and uncomfortable, so I'm sure you understand where all my feelings are coming from here. Did I mention that it smells heavenly? Cause it does.
As for the longevity, I wouldn't really expect much from it. In my experience, the lip balm only lasted for about four-five hours before it started to dry and become incredibly uncomfortably (seriously, it was dreadfully uncomfortable) and a new application was needed. That being said, I've heard that some people actually find this long-lasting so I would say that if you have lips that dry easily, carry this little beauty around with you so that reapplication can be done. Also, when reapplying this balm, I recommend you wipe off the leftover and start anew. Trust me, it's better that way.
So here's the skinny, I'm definitely loving this gloss. Despite the fact that it doesn't last as long as I would like it to, the drying out process is uncomfortable, and the colour is as opaque on my lips as I would like...the good things completely overpower the bad things. It's moisturising while it's worn, the smell is fantastic, the colour selection is amazing for what it is, it's not as sticky as it could have been, and application is easy. It's obvious that ALMAY worked really hard to make this liquid lip balm something to love and I rather fancy that they did.
Also, use one of these babies over a lip colour that is a shade or two lighter and watch the amazing unfold before your eyes.

So you notice how I spoke about going to Subway after I bought my ALMAY Liquid Lip Balm? Well, I ddecided to include a picture of my little camping area and my sandwich. Honestly, I love sitting in Subway and munching on a sandwich while chatting with a mate or sitting by myself and reading or thinking. Granted I can sit anywhere with a mate, talk, and be completely content.
My sandwich was so beast though. It was a footlong steak sandwich on Monterey Cheddar bread, toasted, with lettuce, tomato, pickles, banana peppers, spinach, mayonnaise, honey mustard, and sweet onion sauce. Listen. When I tell you that I got my life from that sandwich. Hunty! I most definitely did.
Fuck Yeah, Iron Man: I love Iron Man, okay? Don't judge me.
Hell yeah, I'm gonna make the last picture of this post a picture of me in an Iron Man shirt. It's bloody amazing and otto is the best bloody wife ever for gifting this to me for my 20th this year. (Thank you, baby.) Deal with my nerdiness.
Also, I'd like to point out that my boobs look massive in this picture because I'm wearing a corset under the shirt and it pushed up my breasts like no other. Not complaining though, cause it adds to the appeal. I'll gladly have Iron Man plastered across my breasts anyday. (Anyone wanna get me a Loki + Avengers shirt? Also, I'd gladly take a Rogue and/or Kitty shirt(s) too cause Rogue and Kitty are bad bitches.)
And that's it for today's post! I hope you guys enjoyed this review and enter the contest that's being hosted by Truth In Aging (and if you already entered, good luck m'loves). I also hope you enjoyed the ending pictures cause let's be real here: Who doesn't love a good food picture and a good Iron Man selfie? No one. That's who.
Finally, next post will be all about blog awards, the new layout, and a couple other things. If you haven't read my previous post, there was a part of the post where I asked for you guys' opinion on two major things and for the sake of those who are too lazy to go back, here's a copy and pasted version:
Let's start with the opinions. I'm planning on starting a Book Club for the blog, but in a more unconventional manner. Rather than a post dedicated to the book club, I want to do it in an email format. What I'm planning is this: Much like most, if not all, book clubs, every month a new book will be chosen to be read. The first two books to be read will be chosen by me. However, any ones after the first two can be recommended/chosen by you guys. In order to join the book club, you'll have to sign up to an email newsletter which is how the book club will be shared. All the information, "assignments", and fun bits will be organised and put into an email that will be sent out to everyone subscribed. And before anyone asks, you are only getting one email per week that includes "assignments" and whatever else. When the ending of the month rolls around, I'll post up a huge post of my favourite responses to the assignments, a couple quotes, and a review (short or long, depending) of the book and a way for people to sign up if they haven't already. I happen to really, really enjoy this idea, but since this is an idea that is for not only myself, but you readers, I want your opinion on that.
Another thing I need your opinion on is the idea of starting a podcast or a series of posts. One of my fellow bloggers (and a good mate as well), Sinead (check her out! ), brought to my attention that she rather enjoyed my opinion and outlook on things. She also mentioned that she'd be totally on board with me writiing a book (but Gods no, I could never...I don't believe I'm eloquent enough for it), but instead I brought up the idea of a series or a podcast. Maybe something that's done once a week on topics that I feel necessary to talk about or topics that have been sent in or asked for me to talk about and offer my opinion on. I'd be open to getting email asking advice or my take on how I'd handle stuations and all that stuff. I don't think I'll hold back on the profanity because out of this blog, I'm a hugely profane person and I can't help it, especially when excited or heated about something. Now, I'm in between doing a podcast or a series of posts because while I don't mind doing posts, they are extremely tiring and time consuming especially with this kind of thing. On the flipside, I detest my voice and have a tendency to stutter a lot, so maybe podcasts with that may throw some people off. Or maybe the idea sucks. What're your opinions on that?
Until next time, lovies. Remember, I love you like I love cream cheese frosting. Well, I love you like I love strawberry cake topped with cream cheese frosting. Nomnomz.

Hello, there!
Welcome to Waiting for June. Waiting for June is a Lifestyle Blog that focuses predominantly on daily life shenanigans and nerd culture, but occasionally dabbles in health & beauty, food, and prattling about serious topics.
Waiting for June is the sixth iteration of the same blog with a different name and structure. The original iteration of this blog was started back in November of 2012 as a purely Beauty and Lifestyle blog under the name Monochromatics which later got abandoned and restarted under the name sumeoseo. With sumeoseo came more beauty and review based blog which quickly lost its appeal. From that point on, there were three name changes, multiple hiatuses, and two blog changes before coming to where we are now.
Throughout this journey, I've learned that this blog shouldn't be limited to what I feel fits in with what I read from other bloggers nor should I put myself in a position to compromise my integrity and the feeling of transparency that I feel should always be there. I've also learned that blogging is probably never going to be a huge source of income the way I always expected it to be. So when I finally returned back to blogging with a fresh blog and an equally fresh name, I decided to make this blog about anything that I wanted to and break the mold of trying to fit into the mold. I can only imagine where this experience is going to take me.

Hello, there!
Welcome to the little about me section of the blog. If it isn't obvious by now, I'm Mochizuki and I'm kind of pretty important here. Admittedly, Mochizuki is a nom de plume, but I digress. I'm currently somewhere in my twenty-somethings and doing that thing where I'm learning how to be a proper adult while balancing being a student and a worker. Speaking of school, I'm a Graphic Design major who's concentration is Web Design and I take my classes online. If I'm being honest here, I do everything online because of my apprehension towards too much social interaction.
I'm typically reading something, playing a video game, watching anime, or something otherwise nerdy because that's how I roll. I don't engage with people unless I'm positive there is something in common there simply because I don't want to make it weird for anyone involved. That said, the reason I originally created this blog, or rather, any of my blogging adventures, was so that I could engage with people wo share the same interests as me while simultaneously sharing my own things with people.
I'm not terribly good at about me's, so expect this to be updated sporadically in a lot of ways.
The little spots on the internet that I read to pass time.

A clear and concise guide on how reviews are approached and written.
This blog touches on and is dedicated to a variety of topics including: daily life, cosmetics, my journey to being a healthier me, music, books, anime, et cetera; however, a large chunk of the content found here are some form of review be they miniature reviews or full blown, in-depth reviews. Because of this, this blog has decided to implement and share it's review policy.
Please note that this policy is liable to change at any point in time, so do constantly check back before sending inquiries to kurahge@outlook.com.
Depending on the workload and the type of product is received, at any given time, multiple products can be in queue to be reviewed.
Depending on the product, the amount of time for a review to be posted varies. Typically, the length of time is as follows: anything health or beauty releated will take between 5 days and 1 week, books take between 3 days and 5 days, music and movie reviews take between 1 to 2 days, and most other reviews are variant depending on the situation at hand.
Products are predominantly purchased with my own money. On the off chance that the product or prodcuts were provided to me, there is always a note at the top of post and as well as text within the post that acknowledges such. Despite being provided a product or not, the opinions are honest and valid.
As of April 14th, 2016, there has been a change in how reviews are formatted. If working with a product that has a list of ingredients (health, beauty, cosmetics, etcetera), there will be a graphic that lists the ingredients out of respect and transparency for the readers.
Photos for reviews, particularly health and beauty related, are unedited and provided in a clear manner to help show what results occurred (if any.)
If at any point, a review is rushed despite being informed of and knowing the review policy of this blog, I will drop the review and pay for the product accordingly. I am a college student and a full-time worker, blogging is a bit of side project no matter how much I wish it otherwise, so my time is a bit crammed. Basically, rushing will terminate any agreement we may have unless it's valid (meaning absolutely my fault.)

Nomnomz.
