So, today's a good day, I suppose. Well, okay. It's a good day for the blog and me as a blogger because I've been nominated for the The Liebster Award for the second time within a span of 7 months and that's amazing cause I sometimes think my blog's quality is shit. Nonetheless, I'm terribly, terribly thankful for it as I normally am when people compliment the blog or do things like nominate me for blogs. That being said, I'm only doing half of the requirements because of the fact that I was nominated previously. Technically, once you're nominated, you shouldn't do this again for a year or so, I think. Nonetheless, I enjoy doing this, so I'm doing it. As for the part I'm not doing, you'll see.

Also, I want to thank, Evelin Kivi for nominating me for the award. You're absolutely darling for doing so and I'm glad you find both my blog and I worthy enough for the nomination. So let's start with the basics. What is the Liebster Award? The “Liebster Award” is a way for fellow bloggers to share some blog love with some of their favourite blogs. There are no judges or special rules but more of an award given to you by your peers. The word “Liebster” is German and means “dearest”. What are the rules of this award? Upon receiving the “Liebster Blog Award”, the nominee will then write a blog post on their own blog along with a link to the person's blog who nominated you, eleven random facts, the answers to the eleven questions the person who nominated you ask, eleven bloggers you nominate for the award, and eleven questions you wish to have your nominees answer.

Seeing as I'm only doing half of the requirements, I will not be nominating any bloggers since I've done this previously. Initially, I was also not going to provide questions since why would I if I'm not tagging anyone? But I've changed my mind. Instead, I'm going to take this opportunity to engage you lot by leaving eleven questions to answer if you so wish to. Anyway, let's jump into it.


One | If you haven't already noticed, I have a thing for Iron Man and Loki. I love that they're both extremely intelligent beings, but are absolutely broken and messed up in all the best ways. I really, really have a thing for characters with depressing lives and minds.
Two | I don't think like many other people do, really. Rather than words and feelings/emotions, I relate things to colours and sounds. If I'm not mistaken, it's a form of synæsthesia.
Three | I need moments alone sometimes or I get a bit antsy and think that everyone is plotting something against me. I'm not used to being social or having people want to be social with me, so I do get really, really wary because of it.
Four | I can sleep for two or three hours and be perfectly okay. However sleeping longer than four hours leaves me feeling exhausted and woozy when waking up.
Five | I don't have a large circle of friends whatsoever. I'm civil and respectful towards most people, but there are few I consider genuine friends.
Six | Blogging is a job to me now. A job that I love to do and have fun with. Sometimes life kicks me in the arse and I have to take breaks, but I love it nonetheless.
Seven | I have a thing for dark stories, shows, movies, etcetera. I'm a huge horror and gore nerd.
Eight | I love sci-fi. Sci-fi is fucking amazing. That's it.
Nine | Steve Wilkos, Maury, and Jerry Springer are guilty pleasures. Not even gonna lie.
Ten | Despite popular belief, I do listen to quite a few rappers and hip hop artists. Kendrick Lamar is probably my number one love for the Rap/Hip-Hop genre.
Eleven | I enjoy being a small time blogger. If I ever do get big I don't want to lose the thing that makes me me. I'm one of those people that believes that blogging, no matter what the compensation is, should be something you do because you like it. Also, I will always be affiliated with the blogging communities with the "smaller bloggers" because they're humbling and absolute darlings.


1. Who are your 3 favourite youtubers?
— Honestly, I don't have 3 favourites. I have moments where I absolutely love some YouTubers and then I just stop. So it really just depends on when you ask me. Although, lately, I've been JKFILMS a lot. Not their parodies, but their News channel. I love how ridiculous they can be and then flip the switch and be legit. I'm also really, really addicted to listening to Chris Thompson's lovely voice when he sings and watching his daily vlogs. But I think that's about it.

2. What is your favourite social media site?
— I'd have to say Twitter. After jumping from Twitter to Twitter, I've finally settled and gotten the hang of it and I love it. I tweet a bunch of things and I range from really ridiculous to being really NSFW. If you're up for it check out and follow me on Twitter.

3. Who is your celebrity crush?
— Oh god. This is so embarrassing for me to say, but I've mentioned this quite a few times here on the blog and if you know me in person, you know I have a truly terrible crush on Tom Hiddleston. Okay, so here's the thing, I'ven't always had a crush on him and I've been a fan of his since...hmm...Wallander, I believe. So it's not always been a thing for me. Don't get me wrong though, I've always thought he was attractive because I cannot deny that he is absolutely beautiful nor would I ever (I have eyes, goddammit). I still didn't find him crushworthy when I saw Thor or Avengers Assemble. And I mean out of the seven times I saw Avengers Assemble, I hadn't found him crushworthy. It wasn't until I watched a bunch of his interviews that it really hit me how amazing he was and that's when the crush started to settle in. I think more than anything, I'm crushing on his personality and his eloquence and how absolutely passionate he gets when he starts to speak on certain things that he rambles and goes off topic. I've a crush of how unabashedly dorky he is. It's rather nice to come across an actor or actress that makes you feel like they are no more or less than you and that they are just as dorky and human as you. That's why I have a crush. And as I've said before, I just want to have a chat with him over a cuppa.

4. Best activity for a rainy day?
— Curling up in bed and watching a movie with a nice cuppa or chatting on Skype with friends while curled up.

5. Who is your fashion role model?
— Uhm...I don't have one? It's weird...I know.

6. Favourite drugstore makeup brand?
— Maybelline.

7. What is your favourite food to cook?
— Pastas, cheese sauce, ramen, eggs.

8. One thing you wish you had done 5 years ago?
— Gone to Japan or London like I wanted to.

9. Do you have any weird habits and what are they?
— I asked otto. otto pointed out my habit eating while half asleep and I'll talk about that in my next Embarrassments + Current Loves. Also, my habit of falling asleep while watching pornography. No seriously. I just really bloody bored watching it, so I refrain from watching it or I pass out. "Everything you do is odd, so I'm not sure how to sift through the weirdness."

10. What is your all-time favourite song?
— I don't have one.

11. What would you say to your future self who's 10 years older than you?
— If you aren't already proud of who you are and what've you done, then please know that you need to be. If you've allowed yourself to get beaten down to the lowest part of your self-esteem, please rise above that all. Remain as you are and be content. Never let someone take away your shine and tell you who shouldn't nor cannot be. Be a better person in the future than the me you're looking at.
